This Peña Custom Lanny’s Clip Point exhibits a more traditional design, with faux bolster and jigged titanium handles, executed in modern style and materials. Blade: Made from premium CPM154 stainless steel the blade has a fine, hand rubbed satin finish and has a razor edge. As the name implies it is the classic “Lanny’s Clip Point” profile with a sleek swedge and subtle recurve. While utilitarian in design it is beautiful in its simplicity. The slip joint operation has a solid half stop and excellent walk and talk. A robust nail nick provides a solid opening platform.

Handle: In keeping with the traditional design the titanium handle is milled with a faux bolster and an organic jigged pattern that feels great in the hand. Assembly is achieved with blue anodized titanium hardware that offers a nice contrast with the blasted finish on the handle. About CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
