This Pena Custom Front Flipper starts with his hand rubbed satin finished CPM-154 blade, razor sharp, perfectly centered and super smooth in operation. The handle recalls a classic slip joint pattern made with a modern titanium liner lock construction. This piece is a Pena Raptor pattern (swayback Apache) front flipper with a modified Wharncliffe blade, burlap Micarta covers and brown canvas bolsters.

Blade: Finished with a handsome, hand rubbed satin the reverse Tanto Wharncliffe blade is made from American CPM-154 stainless steel and outfitted with a high hollow grind for exceptional slicing performance. A nearly full length spine swedge gives the blade a modern look, while the fine reverse Tanto point excels at piercing and detail work. Jimping on the spine enhances traction and extends to the streamlined front flipper tab, delivering ambidextrous deployment with smooth operation thanks to the caged stainless bearing pivot and well dialed in detent.

Handle: Traditional style executed with precision in a modern construction is the benchmark of a Pena custom. The sweeping modern lines of the Raptor are delivered with thick titanium liners supporting contoured Micarta covers over white liners. This piece comes with rugged burlap Micarta for the covers with brown canvas bolsters separated by the same white liner material and adorned with a satin finished stainless steel shield inlay on the front and matching Micarta partial back spacer. Simple, smooth and rock solid, the liner lock delivers secure lockup for safe use.
