The Pocket Hunter returns from the Case Vault for 2020! Small yet robust for everyday use, the Pocket Hunter is an excellent EDC companion by itself or with a larger knife. This version comes with rugged and handsome Smooth Chestnut Bone covers and two Tru-Sharp stainless steel blades: one clip point and one skinner.

Blade: The Clip Point blade has a full flat grind and pronounced swedge for solid slicing and piercing performance while the flat ground skinner has a more robust tip for heavier work with good belly for slicing. Made from Tru-Sharp stainless steel with a mirror satin finish, the Pocket Hunter is easy to maintain and offers big knife performance in a compact package with a good combination of durability and cutting performance. This model has solid back spring tension and smooth slip joint operation.

Handle: The rugged Smooth Chestnut Bone covers are fit between two sets of polished nickel silver bolster and have a great in-hand feel. The covers are attached with brass pins to brass liners in the traditional style. The front cover sports an embossed Case Oval Script Shield while dual stainless steel back springs deliver smooth, simple and secure slip-joint operation.

Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel: Case’s proprietary version of 420HC. Stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough. With proper heat treat it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
